From Lamezia Terme Airport to Cedromare
You land in Lamezia Terme and you are already in Calabria. Cedromare is about 114 km away by car. You can also continue by bus and train. Below you will find both options, along with information about seasonal buses from the airport.
Straight to the house by car
It is roughly 114 km from the airport to the Cedromare holiday home at Via degli Ulivi 213B in Santa Maria del Cedro (postcode 87020). It is best to open the saved Cedromare location in your navigation app; the distance may vary depending on the route.
A car will also be useful later for trips to the towns and inland Calabria. You can leave the first day for the immediate area, though: unpack your bags and head out for a walk by the sea.
First stage: the bus to the station
Lamezia Airlink connects the airport with Lamezia Terme Centrale station, where you can change to a train. Enter “Lamezia Terme Aeroporto” in the Trenitalia search if you want to include the bus transfer in your journey.
Allow time between landing and departure to collect your luggage and reach the bus stop. In the journey details, check the bus and train times and where you will change.
Second stage: a train towards the Riviera dei Cedri
From Lamezia Terme Centrale, look for a direct train to Scalea-Santa Domenica Talao, or a connection via Paola to Grisolia-Santa Maria or Marcellina-Verbicaro-Orsomarso. Available services depend on your travel day. When comparing them, include the time for changing trains and the journey from the station to the house.
The last stretch to Cedromare
Cedromare is about 3.2 km by car from Grisolia-Santa Maria, 3.7 km from Marcellina-Verbicaro-Orsomarso and 7.1 km from Scalea-Santa Domenica Talao. The house is at Via degli Ulivi 213B (87020 Santa Maria del Cedro).
Arrange a taxi or transfer for the last stretch. Give the driver the station name, train number and arrival time, and send the house location on the map.
By bus towards Santa Maria del Cedro
The Preite timetables also include bus connections via Paola. In summer, check route 54, which runs from the airport through the area around Santa Maria del Cedro. Check that its operating season matches your arrival date.
